INFORMATION - PROFILE

The Department of Inorganic Technology (within the Faculty of Chemical Technology) has a long-standing tradition in the education of young specialists for the production of inorganic substances. Besides teaching, research activity is a significant part of its activities.

It consists of four branches, all of which have their origin in history. They deal with technical electrochemistry, catalytic and membrane processes, heterogeneous non-catalyzed reactions and hydrometallurgy. However, present topics of research are much wider and more extensive. New technological processes are studied, together with their impact on the environment and economic issues. The combination of theoretical lessons and modern research produces graduates with a high level of education. This level is rising all the time as a result of cooperation with many domestic and international universities, research institutes and industrial partners.

Do not miss: Opportunity to obtain two diploma certificates

Students studying in the field of Basic and Special Inorganic Technologies can also gain diploma certificates from the University of Tarragona and INPL Nancy.
