Some imidazole ribosides were synthesized, purified by ion exchange chromatography and analyzed by capillary micellar electrophoretic chromatography and zone electrophoresis. Basic spectral and electromigration characteristics of the ribosides at various pH are reported. The data on ribosides can be used in diagnosis of the known and as yet undescribed enzyme defects in the de novo purine synthesis.
