Development, validation and clinical testing of a routine method for determination of clusterin by ELISA is presented. Clinical tests suggest using the concentration for diagnosis and monitoring of therapy of bladder cancer. The method may be also useful in diagnosis of other renal diseases. The method failed in diagnosis of asymptomatic myocardial ischemia.
