Water-based Christmas decoration paints have been developed in cooperation of SYNPO and VUOS research institutes. The coating system consists of an acrylic dispersion varnish and an organic pigment dispersion, both designed to maximum transparency effects. Its colouring components, being entirely pigment -based, exhibit an excellent colour fastness as compared to systems based on solvent-soluble dyes. Because of no solvent content the system represents a signlficant improvement in users' working conditions.
