Solid Silver Amalgam Electrodes

Construction and properties of commercially available non-toxic silver-mercury amalgam electrodes are described. These electrodes can be further electrochemically or mechanically modified and used for the determination of  both inorganic and organic substances  at ppb levels with reproducibility better than 2%.
