In electrochemical analysis of multicomponent systems, an increase in selectivity can be achieved by chemometric evaluation of signals from arrays of sensors which differ in selectivity and sensitivity. In this connection, the system of "electronic nose and tongue" as an example of bioanalogous approaches in chemical analysis is discussed.
