The review deals with the principles and practical applications of solid-phase reactors in FIA (flow injection analysis) techniques. The article is limited to the advances in analysis in flow systems, mainly on-line preparation (derivatization, separation and preconcentration) of samples inside the flow injection manifold. The article includes 82 references covering the period from 1985 to 1999.
