The silver composite electrode prepared from silver and graphite powder and methacrylate resin is a suitable sensor for voltammetric measurements. The effect of underpotential deposition on the composite electrode can be utilized for analytical purposes, e.g. for determination of lead. By application of differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry, lead can be determined in natural water without removing surfactants and dissolved oxygen.
