The article gives an overview of physicochemical processes occurring in the course of aging of graphic pictures. The multicomponent materials producing the pictures consist of carriers and picture-forming systems. Depending on the composition of the materials, various mechanisms of loss of original properties can operate. The accelerated aging methods used for assessment of the stability of the materials are discussed.
